If our second quarter's postcard set doesn't have you feeling transported out west, we're not sure what will. Lauren Summers is our featured artist through June and we could not be more excited to share her talent with you.
Lauren is a photographer and graphic designer based out of Indiana. Fun fact: not only has Lauren shared her photography with us, but she is also the designer behind The Postcard Club's logos and branding.
We had the opportunity to ask Lauren a few questions about her work. Here is what she said...
This quarter’s postcards feature four gorgeous paintings by this Missouri artist. Rachel works out of an art studio that her husband lovingly built in their backyard in St. Louis. We were able to ask Rachel a few questions to learn more about her and her work.
The purpose is to encourage people to put pen to paper and send a quick note to family and friends.
Mail can make us feel connected. It’s a deeper ‘I'm thinking about you’ than a text message, email or DM on Instagram can provide. Snail mail is a familiar art we can all experience in the current times.
The concept is simple. Join the Club, receive beautiful postcards, then send kind notes along to others.
Sending a postcard is a simple, yet thoughtful gesture. We believe there should be more love and thoughtfulness going around, especially now. We created a way to make it easy and fun to send kind notes by snail mail.
Welcome to The Postcard Club.
